Burnt out? Ready to quit teaching? Every (honest) teacher has been there or probably will be at least once during their career. Anxiety, stress and low immunity all affect your body, mind and soul and do nothing good for you at work. Teaching can be an emotionally draining job as well as a rewarding one, and it’s important to learn how to practice daily self care to stay standing in the classroom and continue to improve student learning.
In this course teachers and school staff will be supported to release themselves from these tedious cycles throughout the school year and take time out to practice self-care. Teachers will discover through current research practical ways to promote their own wellbeing and the wellbeing of their students through simple but important techniques. Healthy learning environments start with supported and healthy teachers.
